Scorra is a cricket scoring app built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what data the app handles and what it never does.
- Your match data never leaves your device.
- There are no accounts — nothing to sign up for, so we hold no personal profile about you.
- The free tier shows ads through Google AdMob, governed by a consent prompt you control.
- Subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play / the Apple App Store — we never see payment details.
1. Match data stays on your device
Everything you enter in Scorra — team names, player names, every ball, scorecards, tournaments, statistics — is stored only in the app's local database on your phone. It is never uploaded, synced or transmitted to us or anyone else. When you share a scorecard image, PDF or text, you choose the app it is shared to; Scorra itself sends nothing anywhere.
2. No accounts, no identity
Scorra has no sign-up, login or cloud service. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location. The app requests no access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location.
3. Advertising (free tier only)
The free tier of Scorra shows a small number of ads through Google AdMob. Ads are never shown while you are scoring a live match. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device information such as the advertising identifier, IP address and coarse, non-precise signals. This is the only data that leaves your device, and it goes to Google — not to us.
- On first use the app shows a consent prompt (Google's UMP framework). Ads only start after this resolves.
- On iOS you are then asked, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether Scorra may use the advertising identifier. If you say no — or never answer — ads are served without it, non-personalized. Nothing else in the app changes, and your match data stays on your device either way.
- You can choose non-personalized ads at any time in Settings → Personalized ads, and — where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK) — revisit your consent under Settings → Ad privacy options.
- How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Scorra Pro subscribers see no ads, and the app then sends no advertising data at all.
4. Purchases
Scorra Pro subscriptions (including free trials, renewals and cancellations) are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own privacy policies. Scorra only learns whether an active subscription exists on the device — never your payment details, billing address or store account information.
5. Deleting your data
Because everything is local, you are in full control: delete any match from within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all Scorra data from your device permanently. We cannot delete it for you — we never had it.
6. Children
Scorra is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It contains no social features, no chat and no user-generated content shared with others.
7. Changes to this policy
If a future version of Scorra changes what data is handled (for example an optional backup feature), this policy will be updated first and the effective date above revised. Material changes will be called out in the app's update notes.
