This Privacy Policy explains how the Sizra: Image Resizer app ("Sizra", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Sizra is developed and published by Nainnie Labs.
1. Your images
Every resize, compression and format conversion runs locally on your device. Sizra does not operate any server that receives images, and your images are never transmitted to us or to any third party. All core features work without an internet connection.
How images reach the app
- Photo picker. Sizra uses the Android system photo picker, which gives the app access only to the images you select, not to your whole gallery.
- Share to Sizra. If you share an image to Sizra from another app (for example your gallery or a messaging app), Sizra receives only the image you shared.
Temporary copies
To process a selected image reliably, Sizra makes a temporary copy in its private cache on your device. These copies are deleted when you leave the result, and any copy left behind (for example if the app was closed mid-task) is deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Saved images and your originals
When you tap Save, the resized image is written to the Pictures/Sizra folder on your device. When you tap Share, it goes only to the app you choose. Sizra never modifies or deletes your original image.
2. Photo metadata (EXIF)
Photos often contain hidden metadata such as GPS location, camera model and the date and time they were taken. By default, Sizra removes this metadata from every image it saves.
If you turn on Keep photo metadata, Sizra copies the original's metadata, including location if it is present, into the new image. That image stays on your device unless you share it. If you share it, the metadata goes with it, so leave the option off when sending images to forms or other people.
3. Permissions
- Internet and network state are used only to load ads, process subscriptions and check for app updates through Google Play. Image processing never uses the network.
- Advertising ID (
AD_ID) is used by Google AdMob to serve ads (see section 5). - Billing is used to offer the Sizra Pro subscription through Google Play.
- Storage permission is requested only on Android 9 and earlier, and only so Sizra can save your resized image to Pictures/Sizra. On Android 10 and later no storage permission is needed.
Sizra does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location.
4. Information stored on your device
Sizra keeps a small amount of information in its private storage on your device. None of it is sent to us.
- Settings, such as your default size limit, format and theme.
- Recent results. A list of up to 30 images you saved, kept as references to the files in your gallery so the app can show them on its home screen. The list stores no copies of your images. You can remove an entry by pressing and holding it.
- Pro status. Whether you own Sizra Pro, cached so ads stay off when you are offline.
- Ad timing. When ads were last shown, so the app can limit how often they appear.
- Usage counters. Simple on-device counts of in-app events, such as how many resizes were completed or how many ads were shown. They help us keep ads infrequent. These counters never leave your device and are excluded from device backups.
If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include Sizra's settings and recent-results list in your device backup with Google. Usage counters are never included. You can manage backups in your device settings.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of Sizra shows ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. Sizra shows a banner on the home screen and, occasionally, a full-screen ad after you finish a task. It can also show a full-screen ad when you return to the app. Full-screen ads are limited in how often they appear and never interrupt an image while it is being processed. You can also choose to watch a short rewarded ad to unlock an optional feature for one use, such as resizing more than three images at once or max-quality output.
To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device information (device model, operating system version, screen properties)
- Advertising ID (a resettable identifier provided by Android)
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) and diagnostics and performance data
Google collects and processes this data under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Consent. Where required, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form is shown before any ad is requested. There you can choose whether to allow personalised ads. Where available, you can change your choice later in Settings → Privacy options inside the app.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
- Sizra Pro. While Sizra Pro is active, the app shows no ads and makes no ad requests.
6. Sizra Pro
Sizra Pro is optional and is processed by Google Play. You can buy it in two ways: as an auto-renewing monthly subscription, or as a one-time purchase that keeps Pro on your Google account with nothing renewing. We never receive or store your payment details. Google Play tells the app only whether you own Pro, so the app can turn on Pro features on your device. Google's handling of payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can manage or cancel the monthly subscription at any time in Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the month you paid for. The one-time purchase has nothing to cancel.
7. Google Play services
Sizra uses Google Play's in-app review prompt, which may occasionally ask you to rate the app, and Google Play's in-app updates, which tell you when a new version is available. Google provides and handles both under its own policies. The app does not receive your rating or review text through these features.
8. What we do not collect
Sizra does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or the content of your images. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting service of its own. We have no user database.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. The only third parties that receive data from the app are:
| Third party | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Device information, Advertising ID, IP address, ad interaction and diagnostic data | Serving and measuring ads in the free version (section 5) |
| Google Play Billing | Purchase status for Sizra Pro (monthly or one-time) | Processing Sizra Pro (section 6) |
| Google Play (review and updates) | Handled by Google Play on your device | Rating prompt and app updates (section 7) |
10. Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect your images or personal information, we have nothing to retain on our side. Temporary copies are deleted as described in section 1. Everything else Sizra stores stays on your device until you remove it. To erase it all at once, clear the app's storage (Settings → Apps → Sizra → Storage → Clear storage) or uninstall the app. Images you saved to Pictures/Sizra are ordinary files in your gallery, and you can delete them like any other photo. Google retains data it collects for ads according to its own policies.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. These include rights under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK, and under the CCPA/CPRA and other US state laws. Because Sizra itself does not collect personal data, you exercise most of these rights through the in-app privacy options, your device's ad settings, or directly with Google for the data it processes. You can also contact us using the details below, and we will help where we can. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12. Children's privacy
Sizra is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us and we will help address it.
13. Security
Your images are processed on your device and never uploaded, so there is no cloud copy that could be exposed. The data Sizra stores is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot access on modern versions of Android.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will highlight significant changes in the app or on its Google Play listing.
